- ➤ Tailwinds Brewery opened in November at 1305 Main Street in Union Grove and is built by Rick and Carolyn McNabb. The brew-pub is supported by local officials and a state grant + it invites visitors from the region to enjoy its airplane-themed display and cozy dining area. Racine County Eye

- ➤ Waterford stunned unbeaten Beloit Memorial with strong physical defense in a Southern Lakes Conference showdown on Thursday at home. The Wolverines capped a decisive 12—2 run to secure a 64—53 win as senior players led a 10—2 start this season. Racine County Eye
