  • Microsoft submitted a $13.3 billion proposal to expand Mount Pleasant operations with 15 new data centers and facilities across more than 1,300 acres, with projected property tax gains over $76M annually.   • On Monday, Jan. 19, the Raymond School Board voted to cap open enrollment at 37 seats for the 2026–27 school year — a change that ends new 4K admissions and aims to balance financial needs with community trust. Current students remain unaffected.  Racine County Eye
