- ➤ On Jan. 21, the Mount Pleasant Plan Commission recommended two Microsoft data center site plans for a $13.3B expansion. The Village Board will vote on the plans Monday, Jan. 26 at Village Hall while Microsoft must meet all conditions before permits are issued. Racine County Eye
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Union Grove Performing Arts has grown under director Robert Kroes, with student numbers increasing from 20 to 35 to 70 to 100 per show. The spring musical Once Upon a Mattress (70% sold out) is scheduled for March 6, 7, 13 and 14 at the 435-seat high school theater. Racine County Eye
- ➤ Racine's Witherspoon received several awards from International Junior Miss and will next compete for the National American Miss Wisconsin Elite title. The Journal Times
