Case edged out Park 83-82 last night in a thrilling boys high school basketball game — Michael Lewis scored 26 points as the Eagles kept a one-point lead in the final seconds — and both teams now prepare for playoff challenges.
Racine County high school sports started on Feb.
9 with regional wrestling and swim sectionals and continue today with key basketball games at schools like St. Catherine’s and Waterford Union — additional contests are set through Feb. 14.
Case pulled away for a 74-57 win over Park on Thursday night as Taraji Sutton scored 24 and Addison Betker reached 1,000 career points + with key support from Taccarri Hicks.
The Eagles ended a streak of close losses with a decisive 20-3 run.
