EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At a Feb. 17 meeting, the Racine Unified School Board approved the 2026-27 calendar by a 6–2 vote after addressing public concerns and reducing early release days from 30 to 25 to boost educator training (first day Sept. 1, last day June 10). Racine County Eye
- ➤ Starting March 2, families can enroll their children in Racine Unified School District's (RUSD) 2026-27 kindergarten program, preparing them for the upcoming school year. The Journal Times
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Lamont Hamilton, 35 points shy from the record, attempted his break Tuesday at St. Catherine’s + he will try again Thursday at Nicolet and Friday at Kenosha St. Joseph if needed.
