EDUCATION NEWS

  • On the second day of a school board hearing in Raymond, board president Audrey Kostuch and former board member Gwen Keller testified on whether personal beliefs influenced Jeff Peterson's nonrenewal. More witnesses are scheduled to appear later.  Racine County Eye
  • Former Raymond School District Principal Jeff Peterson testified Feb. 17 on his early positive evaluations and a later negative review that led to a nonrenewal notice and administrative leave; his discrimination and retaliation case at the DWD hearing is set to continue until Feb. 23.  Racine County Eye

SPORTS NEWS

  • St. Catherine’s High School senior guard Lamont Hamilton scored 26 points to help the Angels win 67-54 over Shoreland Lutheran on Tuesday. Hamilton, now nine points shy of Racine County’s all-time scoring record, will have his next chance to break it today against Glendale Nicolet.  Racine County Eye
