EDUCATION NEWS

  • Racine native George Chardukian, a wealth management advisor, joined Carthage College’s Board of Trustees after donating support for the Dudley Riggle Endowed program. His appointment adds a local perspective to the college’s leadership.  The Journal Times

  • WisDOT Engineering Chief Jason Roselle shared an update on I-94 construction from Mar. 6 that is expected to last for years + affect local driving. The update highlights long-term changes that commuters should plan for.  CBS58

SPORTS NEWS

  • Racine native Jimmie Ward (the only first-round pick from our city) will be released by the Texans today, closing his 11-season NFL career that included a Super Bowl start and a Juneteenth youth camp. His release saves the team ($750,000) in cap space.  Racine County Eye
