- ➤ Racine County Eye will host two free Aging Well Resource Fairs on May 21 at Fountain Banquet Hall and May 28 at Grace Church in Burlington & local seniors, caregivers and families will meet local experts offering essential services. Racine County Eye
- ➤ Racine Zoo reported the death of Kirindy (the 20-year-old fossa who celebrated a milestone birthday on Jan. 20) after living at the zoo since Oct. 2010. The animal impressed visitors with his climbing skills and fierce demeanor. FOX6
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Jeff Peterson requested the Raymond School District’s raw survey data from its January 2023 superintendent search but was told none exists even though a Google Form survey (with 167 responses) remains active, documents show. An administrative hearing on Peterson’s discrimination claims raised questions about the district’s record-keeping. Racine County Eye
- ➤ KUSD is hosting the Southeastern Wisconsin School Music Association District Solo and Ensemble Festival at Tremper High School (8560 26th Ave) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21. The Journal Times

- ➤ Racine Bradford's football team will participate in the exclusive Nike 11-On event hosted by the Packers & Nike on July 10. Coach Steve Morris said the team will face full-field challenges that emphasize teamwork, strategy, and communication. Racine County Eye
