  • Phillip King, who has held roles at several colleges, is aiming to serve as president at Gateway Technical College. He plans to lead by being responsive+visible to students and staff.  The Journal Times

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Racine County declared an emergency after storms from April 13 to April 18 brought excessive rain and widespread flooding. County officials are now coordinating with state agencies + local crews to assess damage and plan repairs.  The Journal Times

HEALTH NEWS

  • iDental Racine expands its pediatric dental care at 1320 S Green Bay Rd by adding a board-certified specialist for orthodontics and Medicaid options (BadgerCare accepted). The clinic offers walk-in hours from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and regular appointments Monday to Friday with Saturday slots available by appointment only.  Racine County Eye
