EDUCATION NEWS

  • High school students are exploring job opportunities at a youth apprenticeship fair organized by Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (in partnership with RUSD) today. The program connects local employers with students and aims to boost career readiness.  The Journal Times
  • Raymond School District approved a new math curriculum for grades K-8 on Monday, Apr. 6, selecting Bridges in Mathematics for kindergarten through fifth grade and Math & YOU for grades six to eight, with summer professional development planned and staffing adjustments restoring 90 minutes daily math (program costs are about $26k-$27k).  Racine County Eye

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • North & Zoo beaches earned a B grade in a water quality report that reviewed data from 2020 to 2025. The findings help local officials plan future beach improvements.  The Journal Times
