EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Junior Isaiah Ivey (16) from The R.E.A.L. School was chosen among 100 students nationwide for the LEDA Scholars Program; he will attend a five-week summer program with three weeks at Princeton University and two weeks at Yale starting June 20. Racine County Eye
- ➤ Carthage College and RUSD have partnered to launch the Racine Initiative for Special Education (RISE) program, which offers 12 RUSD teachers online and in-person courses plus benefits like paid release time, tuition reimbursement, and guaranteed employment as they earn special education certification.
