  • At a lunch meeting on Wednesday, April 30, economist Dale Knapp warned that Wisconsin will face long-term worker shortages as the baby boom generation retires and subsequent generations are much smaller—he added that expanding immigration or offering $16,000 relocation incentives could help. Nationally, economist Andrea Sorensen noted that despite healthy labor markets, tariff policies and trade tensions are creating uncertainty for business investments.  Racine County Eye
