- ➤ Knapp Elementary School students visited Racine Urban Garden Network’s Owen Davies Garden to learn about the life cycle of plants — the trip gave them hands-on experience to see each stage of growth in real time. - ➤ The Raymond School District is updating its curriculum and elective options for the 2025–26 school year after its $2.25 million referendum failed earlier this spring—changes include a new social studies program that emphasizes critical thinking and a streamlined set of middle school electives due to staffing cuts. - ➤ Waterford won a share of the Southern Lakes Conference baseball title last week by beating Wilmot with wins of 7 to 2 and 10 to 2 — they now lead by one game and will face Burlington again on Thursday if the weather lets.
