  • Cari Greving from Visit Racine County outlined a busy community calendar that includes Pickin in the Park on June 21st from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at Campus Park in Mount Pleasant, Fun and Food on First every Monday from June 2nd through August 25th at Ten Club Park, and free Juneteenth events scheduled from June 6th to 14th. Other events include Loop Day in Downtown Burlington on June 7th on the 100 block of E Chestnut St — and a Racine County Blood Drive on June 11th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Visitor Center, inviting residents to donate blood.  CBS58

  • Racine priest Fr. Juan Manuel Camacho told parishioners that the new pope—Pope Leo XIV—brings a call for peace and unity that mirrors the recent effort of eight local parishes to work as one community. He shared the news during a Mass at the Youthful Offender Correctional Facility while continuing his daily duties.  The Journal Times
