- ➤ School staff and district officials broke ground at Gilmore Fine Arts on May 26 to begin a $6,117,181 upgrade of the auditorium, classrooms, and common areas. Construction will begin this summer and finish by summer next year, adding expanded seating & a new dance studio. Racine County Eye
- ➤ A multilingual fifth grader from Starbuck won the state association writing contest with an essay about her move from India to America. The win +celebrates her hard work+ and is a proud moment for local educators. The Journal Times
