GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Racine County Executive Committee tabled a resolution that would have condemned racially insensitive behavior at a May 7 track meet at Waterford Union High School—five members voted for the delay while two opposed it. Some supervisors said the language did not cover all events and community voices warned that strong action is needed against bias. The Journal Times
- ➤ A measure in the House budget that would have let the federal government label nonprofits as terrorist groups has been removed from the Senate bill — civil rights groups and legal experts pushed back on the vague language. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Racine-area athletes competed at the 2025 WIAA State Track and Field Championships held June 6 to 7 at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse — Mike Farr of Case finished 4th in the 110m hurdles.
