- ➤ A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Sunday evening around 6 p.m. near the intersection of S. Beaumont Avenue, CTH BD, and Cassandra Court in Dover when three vehicles collided — a 72-year-old rider died and two other motorcyclists were taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa with serious injuries. - ➤ A Racine man who shot at four police officers during a 2023 standoff was sentenced on Monday to 35 years in prison—adding 15 years of extended supervision after wounding two officers. FOX6
- ➤ Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 37-year-old woman early Tuesday—RPD Chief of Police Alex Ramirez said he would address recent gun violence after she and a 52-year-old man were killed in separate incidents. The Journal Times

- ➤ After years of sitting vacant, the former Racine Family YMCA on Lake Avenue was nearly demolished on July 14—leaving a large hole and rubble that crews have not yet cleared.
