- ➤ SC Johnson will relocate 170 employees from its Chicago office to Racine facilities by the end of 2026, moving them in phases to the former Educators Credit Union building on Willow Road in Mount Pleasant — the company says no jobs will be cut. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Watershed Protection Committee of Racine County received a $100,000 grant from the Sand County Foundation — a national nonprofit — to help 5 to 10 local farmers start regenerative agriculture practices this fall. - ➤ A federal judge ordered the Department of Workforce Development to stop enforcing a 2013 law that blocked unemployment benefits for workers receiving SSDI, so laid-off residents with disabilities will not lose their claims.
