- ➤ The City of Racine’s Finance and Personnel Committee will meet Monday, July 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Emily Lee Room at the Racine Public Library to discuss a $125,000 brownfield remediation loan for a riverfront parcel, a $26,570 contract for tree stump removal, and a request to close streets on Sept. 20 from noon to 7 p.m. The committee will also consider disallowing two legal claims—one for vehicle damage and one connected to a wrongful death—to manage financial risk + guide future redevelopment.
