- ➤ Fiestas Patrias celebrated culture at Horlick High School last week—organizer Tania Chavez and YES alumni urged immigrants to unite amid rising ICE actions and deportations that have forced some to leave their homes. The event marked the first celebration since 2019 and provided a safe space for the community. Racine County Eye
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ On Friday night, eight of nine high school football games in Racine County ended with teams winning by 20 points or more—Union Grove beat Westosha Central 34-14 with a strong second half to earn a playoff ticket. Racine Lutheran, St. Catherine’s and Elkhorn also posted dominant wins while Waterford lost a close game after a late comeback attempt. Racine County Eye
- ➤ The Case girls tennis team finished a perfect season by winning all five dual meets and clinching their first Southeast Conference Dual Meet Championship in over 25 years—marking a historic win for the school. They will defend their title Tuesday at Kenosha Indian Trail. Racine County Eye
