  • Racine drivers saw their regular unleaded gas drop to $2.35 per gallon on Oct. 20 due to lower crude oil prices and seasonal demand changes—making prices about 30 cents below the state average.  Racine County Eye

  • State lawmakers and governor candidates are proposing new housing bills to slow rising costs as home prices jumped nearly 120% while incomes grew only 50% in the past decade—proposals include tax increment districts, condo conversion programs and easing zoning rules with votes expected in the coming weeks.  Racine County Eye

  • Badger ended Union Grove’s unbeaten streak with a 45—14 win at Union Grove High School and clinched their fourth Southern Lakes Conference title.
