  • The Racine Zoo held Boo at the Zoo on Oct. 25 with outdoor trick-or-treating for kids and animal encounters. Visitors enjoyed craft stations, bounce houses, and food for sale during the event.  FOX6
  • This week, about 2,000 people gathered at a Mount Pleasant intersection on October 18 for a protest while local agencies warned that SNAP benefits may end on Oct. 31 if the shutdown continues. A recent survey showed strong support for a downtown grocery and market, with Halloween events planned on Oct. 31 and gas prices now at $2.35 per gallon—updates that affect the whole community.  Racine County Eye
  • McKenna Moats returned to Racine Zoo's Boo at the Zoo Halloween event on October 25th+ she showcased a fruit bat for visitors. The event drew local families to enjoy festive animal displays.  FOX6
