GamesGiving Expo will take place Nov.

28—29 at Fountain Hall in Sturtevant where gamers, local vendors and charities will join for gaming tournaments, artisan booths and fundraisers — aiming to start a new annual tradition for Southeastern Wisconsin families. The event is hosted by Guys Games and Beer in partnership with Racine County Eye and will run from noon to 9 p.m. on Nov. 28 and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 29.

Restoration work on Lamparek Creek is wrapping up as crews restore the creek’s natural, winding course that was lost when farmers straightened it 150 years ago — local observers note that the creek is already looking vibrant.
