COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The nonprofit Sharing Center (in Trevor) has extended its Monday hours to help area residents who face delays with their November Foodshare benefits.  The Journal Times

EDUCATION NEWS

  • RUSD expanded its Access for All program with a grant from the WEA Member Benefits Foundation to help families pay for school-based mental health services—supporting up to 15 counseling sessions per approved family. The funding follows a $40,000 award in February 2022 and helps remove cost barriers for families with high deductibles.  Racine County Eye

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • WisDOT announced lane closures on northbound I-94/41 over County K for bridge maintenance from November 10 through November 13. Motorists should plan extra travel time as the closures run from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. while the interstate remains open.  FOX6

SPORTS NEWS

  • Union Grove and St. Catherine’s advanced to Level 3 of the WIAA football playoffs in Racine County after Friday night's close wins that ended Burlington, Case and Racine Lutheran's seasons; Union Grove will travel to face West De Pere plus St. Catherine’s will host Little Chute on Friday night at Horlick Field.  Racine County Eye
