- ➤ A local mother and daughter teamed up to create a bilingual children's book titled 'The Best of Me for You' (Lo Mejor de Mí para Ti) that explores feelings and the close bonds between teachers and students. The Journal Times
- ➤ At the Nov. 17 meeting, the Raymond School Board addressed curriculum gaps from budget cuts and raised concerns that relying on Rosetta Stone might not count for high school credit—board member Ed Robinson also reported that 12 RFPs were sent for a facilities study to guide future building maintenance and upgrades. - ➤ The RUSD board approved the demolition of Roosevelt Elementary, and the district will keep ownership of the property at 915 Romayne Ave after the building is removed. The decision was made to maintain control of the site for future use. The Journal Times
