  • Foxconn will invest $569 million to expand its Racine County operations—adding 1,374 jobs over the next four years after the state approved up to $16 million in performance-based tax incentives. The company plans to meet rising U.S. customer demand and boost domestic supply chains.  FOX6

ECONOMY NEWS

  • A growing number of people in Racine are joining a national economic blackout from Nov. 25 through Dec. 2 to spend money at local stores instead of big retailers—organizers say this move aims to fight corporate greed and keep jobs in the community.  Racine County Eye

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Beginning Dec. 1, Racine will enforce alternate-side parking rules from 2-6 a.m.—drivers must move their cars to avoid fines.  The Journal Times

HEALTH NEWS

  • A guide on holiday food safety outlines key steps—cleaning, separating, cooking, and chilling—to prevent foodborne illness and help ensure meals are safe.   • Racine County boys basketball started yesterday with a rematch between Park and Waterford in a doubleheader at Waterford Union, and teams will compete in holiday showcases on Friday and Saturday at Case High.
