- ➤ Racine County firefighters battled a barn fire on Sunday, Dec. 7 in the Town of Dover near Sheard Road + extreme cold and the absence of hydrants required tanker trucks for water and a school bus to warm crews, with one barn section lost and others damaged. FOX6

- ➤ At the Miss Racine 2026 competition held locally, Rosie Miliacca twirled her baton to 'I'm Still Standing' during the talent segment. The Journal Times

- ➤ Foxconn will invest $569M in Racine County to build AI-focused data centers—creating 1,400 jobs and completing its first phase in 2026 while local residents express concerns about rising energy and water costs. Racine County Eye

- ➤ Brian O'Connell, the longest-serving board member, announced he will not seek re-election in April 2026 after improving academics and launching new programs (nomination forms will be available from Dec. 1, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026). Racine County Eye
