- ➤ Racine Zoo will host a winter picnic in a heated holiday globe from Saturday, Dec. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 1. The event offers 90-minute private experiences—small group outings with food, drinks and an animal encounter starting at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. FOX6
- ➤ Fisk Johnson will double local Red Kettle donations for The Salvation Army by matching contributions up to $50,000 on Saturday, Dec. 20 in Racine — SC Johnson volunteers will serve as bell ringers at several sites. Racine County Eye
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Raymond School Board is considering three firms—PRA, Bray Architects, and Nexus Solutions—to conduct a feasibility study of the school at 2659 76th St. in Franksville. A final decision will be made at the Jan. 5 workshop, and the study will guide future planning. Racine County Eye
- ➤ At today's RUSD meeting, board members approved a construction manager for the Gilmore Fine Arts renovation and tabled a referral on board member pay. The Journal Times
- ➤ Education Youth Development Outreach will host its annual Spring Break HBCU college tour from April 5 through April 12, 2026, giving middle and high school students a chance to visit real college campuses and learn what it takes to apply.
