About this event
Learn the art of Raku firing, a traditional Japanese ceramics technique known for its dramatic firing process and unique, unpredictable finishes. Each registered participant will receive a bisque-ware clay piece to glaze and will take part in the outdoor Raku firing experience, watching as the piece transforms through heat, smoke, and flame before taking home their finished work.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Classes meet at RAM - Wustum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine. $60 RAM members; $72 non-members
