The Wrap

Winter is coming, and Misty Cook, a member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans, can tell you which plants people have long relied on when it arrives. She gives a free illustrated lecture on native plant medicine at the Kenosha Public Museum on Saturday, Nov. 7, and everyone leaves with a herbal tea bag made from plants she gathered and dried herself. A cup of that sounds about right.
